For the installation Fraktur (Fracture), Jeewi

Lee covered the floor of an entire exhibition space with

gravel: one half of it with bright pieces and the other half

with dark pieces. The clear line that divided the two color

fields was soon blurred by the interaction of the visitors.

Throughout the exhibition, their movements inscribed

themselves on the floor, which thus served as the picto-

rial ground for a constantly changing composition.
